Bonfire Night
Thanks to those who have volunteered so far however we still need a few more Dads willing to be part of a team to build and clear up the bonfire. Ideally we need someone to co-ordinate the Bonfire building with a team of 5 or 6 people needed to build the bonfire on the day. Then the following morning we will need a team of people to clear the field including the bonfire and the litter. Also during the afternoon/evening of the bonfire we need someone to help with setting up the lights, gazebos etc. The HT Bonfire night is a big fundraiser and a great evening for the kids and parents we really need your support to make this event happen. If you are able to help with this please contact Carrie Witts, carriewitts@gmail.com

Christmas Fair

We need a team to get involved in the organisation of the fair as a whole.

The sort of things we need to do are :
Admin: events license, residents letters,
Organise the raffle, obtain prizes, etc
Co-ordinate the external stalls
Co-ordinate the internal stalls and rotas
Posters etc
Decorating the school for Christmas

We will be having our first meeting in the next week or so. If you are able to get involved please contact Caroline Swift, caroline@swifts.me.uk

Northbrook Wrapping

You should all have received your Northbrook Christmas Gift Wrap Brochure. Order your gift wrap before the Half Term Holiday. Please send your orders into the HT office by 17th October. Our school will receive cash back for every item sold. If we all order just a couple of items we would raise significant funds for our school. Any queries or if you did not receive a brochure please contact Cherrie Gluyas cherrygluey@yahoo.com

Class Lists
Unfortunately the class lists have been delayed due to the volume of updates, the school are hoping to issue them to us shortly they will then be issued via Parentmail.

Josh Romero (4J) is running the Challengers 5k
run again this Sunday. As some of you know, this has been a very difficult year for him health wise, and he is making it a real challenge by trying to beat his personal best of 34 mins, plus he is still one of the youngest runners (minimum age of entry is 8 years for the 5k). He is running with his ice skating buddy, Sam, hence the team name "Get your skates on!" Disability Challengers is a fantastic charity that supports and enables disabled youngsters to play in a safe and stimulating environment, please sponsor Josh and Sam at here. Thank you.

Daniel Hollo (3C) - has lost his named Mandela fleece. Please could you check at home and return to his classroom if you find it! Thank you.
Jonathan Giles (4J) has mislaid his PE kit in a PD kit bag (t-shirt and joggers) even though both articles are named. If you have seen them please return the kit to Jonathan’s classroom. Thank you.

Just in case you missed the request last week
, we have a family living in West Clandon at the moment who are having difficulties getting to school via the local bus service! If an HT family live in this area, travel by car and would be willing to offer lifts, would you please come to the office? Thank you.
